FMCG & retail logistics
Fewer vehicles on the road, and the windows still met.
Fast-moving consumer goods, store replenishment, wholesale supply, intragroup distribution and multi-sector retail chains – where the stop is a loading bay, the drop is heavy, and the cost sits in the vehicle.
The economics
The expensive mistake is a vehicle, not a parcel.
In B2C a bad decision costs a second attempt. Here it costs a truck for a day.
Replenishment rounds are usually planned by somebody experienced, on a pattern that was right when it was designed. Volume moves, stores open, a bay changes its receiving hours – and the pattern is defended rather than rebuilt, because rebuilding it is real work.
So the fleet is sized for the worst week and runs at that size every week. The waste is invisible because it never appears as a failure.
Planned against the actual drops, with dimensions, reloads, multi-depot and receiving windows solved together, the same work fits in fewer vehicles – and the windows are still met, because they were a constraint rather than a hope.
The second leak is in the building: billable weight that never crossed a gate, and line-haul lanes planned on a spreadsheet.
A pattern that was right when somebody drew it is a cost you renew every week without noticing.

The bay
The cost here is waiting, not driving.
Two of the models, read against a replenishment round rather than a courier one – schematics, not solved rounds. Both of them buy minutes at the ramp by spending a little more on the road, which is the trade nobody makes by hand, because nobody can see it.
Preferable time windows
When this door actually opens, inferred from what happened at it before – not from what the recipient once ticked in a form. The window the engine plans against is the one with the highest chance of a first-attempt success.
Reads the attempt history at the address. Changes which window the stop is planned into.
Service time prediction
How long this stop will actually take: the building, the floor, the entrance, the parcel count, the hour. A round built on one flat average is wrong at every stop and right on average.
Reads the recorded dwell time at that address. Changes how many stops fit in the day.
Send us one replenishment week.
We will run it against your declared receiving windows and against what the bays actually did, and show you the difference in vehicles.

Where the work happens
The building, the road, and the bay.
The building
Hub app, containers and consolidation, seals and custody, transport sessions, line-haul and closings – and sorter, gate and robot integrations over the same API.
The road
Multi-depot and reloads, truck dimensions, ADR and cold chain solved together with the sequence, not applied as filters afterwards.
The cost
Cost centres, invoicing and lane cost modelling reading the same record the driver closed – so cost per drop is built from scans, not allocated.
Reporting
Cost per drop, built from the scans.
A transport session is an object you can plan, load, close and settle. That is what turns lane cost from an allocation into a measurement – and what makes a 10-15% line-haul saving from lane and load optimisation something you can test rather than take on faith.
Lastmily estimate. Baseline it on your own lanes first.

Start with the weight gap.
Declared against measured, one month, one lane. It is the fastest number to baseline and the hardest to argue with.
